2 weeks

Today, Penelope Mei has been with us for 2 weeks. It's already hard to imagine life without her.
I can not believe how much she has changed in just 2 weeks! She is making so much progress each day! Some things I think are new skills, some I believe are things she knew how to do and just hadn't shown us yet.
She has done so well in the few days we've been home. She opens up to us more and more each day. She still prefers me over anyone else, but she loves her daddy too. She obviously must be used to chaos because the constant noise and action that comes with having 4 & 6 year old brothers doesn't seem to bother her. In fact, she loves the boys!

It's almost hard to look at these pictures taken just 2 weeks ago.
Pictures of a baby girl in shock.
Pictures of a girl who hadn't yet realized she was no longer an orphan.

We've only been together 2 short weeks.
The change is amazing.
 Seriously, Praise God.
 This girl smiles so hard!

She has become a Peek A Boo master!
She is sooooo close to crawling!

She is CRAZY flexible.

She has 3 big brothers that fight for her attention.

What a difference love makes!

Love Love Love!!!! She is a little miracle and was meant to be a member of our family. Thanks be to God for this little treasure, (but I feel that way about all our Grandkids) They are all gifts from God. Love Nanny

I know she looks a lot like me, but I think she looks a bit like Jason as well.

Either way, she's the cutest thing ever.

THANK YOU so much for continuing your blog after you got home. LOVE seeing all the family pictures of you all. It is AMAZING to see the difference in two short weeks. Keep the posts coming. I think there are several stalkers out there wanting to see a glimpse of sweet Penelope. LOVE her smile. That sweetness could melt any heart. I can sure see the boys are over the moon over their sister. I can see she will rule them before long. LOVE has made such a difference in her. I would love to know what she is thinking. Probably FINALLY they found me. Congratulations on following God's plan for Penelope. Love you guys. Carolyn Carr

Congrats to the whole Fulton family! I have enjoyed reading Penelope's story, even though I didn't begin until her/your journey was almost complete. Your love for your little girl is a testament of perseverance and faith and an example for us in your community, both near and far, to emulate. God Bless from your childhood neighbor to the west!

She is absolutely adorable! It's amazing to see her facial expressions change so much in two short weeks. She looks so HAPPY! I love reading your blog and seeing all the pictures. I'm either in tears or have the chills because what your family has done for Penelope is truly amazing. She will now have the life she deserves. Penelope is so blessed to have such a wonderful family in her life and you are so blessed to have such a sweet little girl in your life. I'm happy to her she continues to improve and show more of who she is! P. S. I love all of her outfits and bows...sooo cute!

What else can you say but WOW!!! Truly an amazing journey for Penelope. Reminds me of what people must feel when they discover God's unconditional love for us for the very first time! You just can't hide that transformative love :) The kids already believe they are friends with your kids - they are hoping for a summer get together!
