Anna Maria Island is one of our favorite places in the world. We LOVE it. This was our 10th year there. Jason, Gabe, Payton, Dawson and I have been every year. Over the years it's been different combinations of the rest of our family, but this was the first year that all the grandkids were there at the same time. I think it was the closest you can get to Heaven for Mam & Bamp!
In a perfect world it wouldn't take 16 hours to drive to AMI, but if it were closer I guess it wouldn't be as special. This time we split Dex and Quinn up, Jack rode with us and Dex rode with Harry. Smart move. The worst part of the drive is usually the smell that comes the back seat. I'm not naming names, but they rhyme with Abe and Awson.

Anna Maria Island
First glimpse of the ocean.
The Rod & Reel Pier. Our favorite restaurant in the world. On a cold winter night at the Fulton house we will often go around the table and say what we would have ordered at the Rod N Reel.
I dream about these crab cakes!
After dinner with the crew.
Our trip started off a little rocky. Let's just say that's not a circus. It's our house. We couldn't stay there the first night. No problem. We were in the next morning. Luckily I have no idea what a termite looks like, I can honestly say I didn't see any....
This is our backyard. Jason says backdoor to water is 80 feet. We spend HOURS feeding the seagulls. We bring every scrap of food home from every restaurant. Props goes to the ones with the nerve to let the bird take it out of their hand, harder than it looks!
The Rod N Reel from our backyard.
Our menfolk head off to catch some fish.
We hung out at Rebekah and Monty's house in the mean time. Pool was awesome!
Fun in the sand and sun.
